“Taking an infectious vocal melody and building layers of guitars, keyboards, and time changes around it, then covering the whole thing in a shiny production sheen, Spheric Universe Experience (SUE) crafts an instant prog-metal landmark.” - Metal-Rules.com

Sensory Records was conceived as a progressive metal label. While the scope of the label has expanded a bit, we are always on the watch for great progressive metal bands. We believe we have found one in Spheric Universe Experience. SUE is a French band clearly inspired by bands like Dream Theater and Symphony X and proud of it. Their debut Mental Torments created some ripples in the French metal underground but with Sensory’s promotional efforts we expect to get a major buzz going on the band through out the world. Anima is the band’s second album and finds them developing more of their own identity while retaining their characteristic chops-from-hell sound. The band tackles epic, complex tracks which are the signature of the genre – and they do it with ease. Anima was recorded and mixed at Kallaghan Studio in France by Charles Massabo. The album was mastered by noted producer/engineer Tommy Hansen at Jailhouse Studios in Denmark.
